Suggested Spacers

Below Beams

ROMTECH can supply concrete square bar spacers for heavy duty beam cages. These are available in a variety of covers and are 250mm or 1000mm long. However, we recommend our pre-attached skid spacer which saves site labour, can be preset to any cover dimension and fully complies with the structural test requirements of BS 7973.

Beam Sides

ROMTECH recommend the use of “Grippa Plate” Spacers. These push onto and grip the bars of the beam side without sliding down. Available with 40/50mm or 65/75mm cover will fit up to 16mm bar diameter.
