ROMTECH recently supplied a ‘large diameter piling’ contract which used conventionally spliced pile cages. The use of Bulldog grips was prohibited because of the hazards of manually fitting them with operators hands passing inside both the ‘trapped-off’ and suspended pile cages. “Safe-Splice” is a patented system which we have developed as a much safer alternative to U-bolts.
