Ground Anchors

Ground Anchors

Ground Anchors and Piles can be used to provide Global Stability in an Earthworks structure. They (unlike Soil Nails) are actively loaded from the onset. Temporary uses include tie backs to sheet piles, and temporary works stabilisation of open excavations during contract period.

Rock Bolting

Installed on a grillage, lightly-loaded, with a short shank length and without pre-tensioning. Hollow self drill option is quick and easy to install (drill, flush and grout in one operation). Harder drill bit (eg. Tungsten Carbide Button Bits) are also available. The product is also suitable for connecting friable surface material to hard substrate.

Micro Piling

Stabilises existing structures through underpinning where installation access (both horizontal and vertical) is limited. Principle is that of single central bar and ability to couple this. Other applications include the upgrading of strip footings, stanchion bases and Network Rail power gantry bases.

Spile Applications

Stabilise shallow depth ex-foliated rockface by tying back to the stable rock above, in preparation work for N.A.T.M. technique. Hollow bar format provides conduit for grouting. Exposed ends can be used to bolt on and support further reinforcement layers.
