Heavy Duty, Clamped-on Cage Feet

• Mobilises soil bearing capacity to provide massive toe-support to heavy pile cages during installation
• Prevents cage dropping during installation or casing-extraction so avoiding the liabilities of low cages and the unscheduled need for expensive repair couplers
• Simple, scientific, torque-controlled integral clamps are rapid and easy to work with, so avoiding the need to site-weld the feet to the cage whilst making the feet secure
• Use of integral clamp allows feet to be detached from previously fitted-out cages in order to ‘telescope’ the foot to alter its projection below the cage to allow for changing ‘toe bearing’
• Projection of cage foot through bottom-end concrete of pile has been deemed acceptably durable on CTRL projects, Terminal 5 Heathrow and other prestigious contracts due to the anaerobic nature of the environment at the base of the pile
